Authorities and community members are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 20-year-old Julius Stocinis of Enfield, Connecticut, who has been missing since December 1, 2025. The East Windsor Police Department continues to actively investigate all leads and asks residents to remain alert and share any information that may help bring Julius safely home.
According to investigators, Julius was last seen by his family at approximately 5:30 a.m. on December 1st as he left his residence in Enfield. Family members told police they last heard from him around 5:45 a.m. that same morning. Shortly thereafter, police located his burned vehicle on Melrose Road in Broad Brook, just outside Scantic River State Park. As a result, the park remains closed to the public while officers and search teams continue extensive search operations in the surrounding area.
Julius is described as being approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Updated, higher-quality photographs of Julius—provided by his friends—have been released by the East Windsor Police Department to help the public assist in identifying him. These images may prove critical in expanding visibility and ensuring that anyone who may have crossed paths with Julius recognizes him.
The Police Department stresses that no detail is too small, and even seemingly minor information may help move the investigation forward. Detectives, local agencies, and specialized search teams are following every lead, and community engagement remains a vital part of the effort.
“Our department continues to pursue all avenues to locate Julius,” officials said in a public update. “We appreciate the assistance of the public and ask that anyone who may have seen him, spoken with him, or noticed anything unusual in the area come forward.”
Residents, hikers, commuters, and anyone traveling near Melrose Road, Broad Brook, or Scantic River State Park around the time of Julius’s disappearance are especially encouraged to report anything they may have observed.
